Season 1 of Due North is officially done!
The theme of the first season was Welcome to Due North, with us meeting Berto, Bella, Alia, Tony, and Alecia, and taking a peek into their lives and the secrets of the town, with a special focus on our newcomers.
I’ve enjoyed writing the series immensely and it was a good exercise for me as a writer to switch up my usual genre and tone. I’m glad I did it, but it’s run its present course. Of course, there are storylines we can revisit, and I’m confident we will in the future, but for now, we’re going to take a step back from our wonderfully fascinating little town.
I’m going to take a short break to cook up terrifyingly thrilling tales for you to feast on week after week. For a small taste of what’s to come, check out To Infinity. (This is in no way a definitive collection of what’s to come. Paid members will get first looks MUCH before the story is finally unveiled to the public; more on that below.)
Before I sign off on this update, I wanted to make sure you knew about the soft release of my paid subscription plan I quietly rolled out. All Early Adopters get a 40% discount, a copy of Frozen Summer: Stories From the Dark and Twisted Crevices of the Universe (PDF, MOBI, and EUPUB, perfect for your e-readers!), early looks, AND voting rights for upcoming serials. Plus, my eternal gratitude.
And that’s all in addition to the subscriber-only stories I’ll be releasing at the end of the Early Adopters period (at which point the discount ends)! So, what are you waiting for?
If you’re already a paying member, hit reply to let me know which story you’re most excited for, and I’ll make it happen!
